Routes are to Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, and the south, and that direction for the A47 for Kings Lynn and Norfolk, and north towards the A17 for Lincolnshire and Kings Lynn and North Norfolk via Sutton Bridge.

Being outside Newton the keenly priced bed and breakfast accommodation is surrounded by flat fenland fields at all sides.

The accommodation derives from two tied cottages combined into one large house, and from such humble beginnings now provides a well fitted high quality ensuite bed and breakfast accommodation equal of the high priced housing of the area. The garden and summer house (not shown above; they are behind the hedge in the picture above) are also available for guests.

Car parking is at the side of the house with the driveway and parking area giving ample space for a number of cars.

Accommodation comprises:

  • 1 double en-suite with shower
  • 1 twin with bath
  • 2 further singles and a main bathroom with airspa
  • A small double room is added in high season
The bedrooms are a good size and beds are all to high orthopaedic standard (so often bed and breakfast beds are thin mattresses and hard bases - not here). There are chairs to sit in. The facilities inside include the usual drink making facilities but then soft drinks, some sweets, biscuits or equivalent, a hair dryer, and television with good reception on five terrestrial channels. Furniture is of a good standard.
The dining room features hanging silks from Indian depicting an adolescent Krishna with local devoted girls, and two Muslim scenes. There is other art work too. Guests are assisted and made to feel welcome.
