KAREN SMITH works in the Office.
KAREN SMITH is a fiesty 35 year old and usually a very capable Administrator. If something is going on, she knows more about it that the Manager CHRISTINE OLIPHANT. She has remained friendly with the local doctor, PETER CHALMERS, and his wife, DOROTHY CHALMERS, and baby-sat for their children which on one occasion led later to a short affair that ended quite quickly (she realising that PETER would not leave DOROTHY). However, she has just discovered that the good doctor had been having another affair with the murdered KATIE CROMWELL, also one of his patients. She was a good informant in the Police Incident Room.
