Grandfathers

Here are the census details of both of my grandfathers.

Now, honest, I chose Bolingbroke for my novel's suffragan bishop title because it sounded right (balls, bowling, going for broke: sort of semi-sexual, semi-violent even). I knew of a Lincolnshire connection and of the Canadian trek, but never did listen to my late mother very clearly.

Also the idea in my head that family males were named something Adrian and then Adrian something was a myth in my head. Roy Adrian was my dad, but both males above were Adrian somethings. And I discovered that Adrian Corneilious was spelt unusually.
